WATERTOWN, NY. (September 13, 2007) – Northland Motor Technologies (NMT), a world-class developer of innovative electromechanical systems launched a new product line of Brushless DC (BLDC) Centrifugal Blowers. The new product line named Mercury is a line of Brushless DC driven, variable speed, multistage blowers designed for use in critical pressure of vacuum applications. The blowers boast unprecedented combinations of size, performance and energy efficiency, along with control interfaces.
The BBA14 series of Mercury blowers have 5.7 inch (14 cm) diameter housing, and are designed for OEM applications that require performance-critical air systems. The series is based on 4 different electronically commutated (EC) drive systems that result in a broad air performance envelope. The series includes 120 Volt AC and 240 Volt AC input models, with the standard models offer a performance level of 340” H2O pressure at 0 CFM out to 160CFM at open flow. All of the models utilize backward curved impellers to provide an efficient, compact, air moving system.
The series also includes 4 different speed (performance) adjustment topologies; potentiometer, 1.5 – 10 VDC, 0.5 – 5 VDC, or 4 – 20 ma signal inputs. The resulting product line consists of over 60 standard models.
