Northland Motor Technologies introduces a line of Brushless DC driven, variable speed, 130mm diameter blowers and external drives.  The blower and drive combinations boast unprecedented combinations of size, performance and energy efficiency, along with control interfaces.

The BBA13 series of blowers have 5.1 inch (13 cm) diameter housing, and are designed for OEM applications that require performance-critical air systems.

The series is based on 4 different electronically commutated (EC) drive systems that result in a broad air performance envelope. The drive series includes 12 Volt DC, 24 Volt DC, 120 Volt AC and 240 Volt AC input models.  Coupled to the new blowers the packages offer a performance level of 30" H2O pressure at 0 CFM out to 40CFM at open flow. All of the models utilize backward curved impellers to provide and efficient, compact, air moving system.

The series also includes 3 different speed (performance) adjustment topologies; potentiometer, 1.5 – 10 VDC, or 0.5 – 5 VDC signal inputs.
